Begun in 1991, Newpoint is located on the deep waters of Factory Creek.
The community — situated on a 25-foot waterfront bluff — overlooks historic Beaufort and the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway, a series of bays, lagoons, rivers and canals running from Norfolk, Virginia to Key West, Florida.
